Day 7 of #yogachallenge #wallasana is #cobrapose at the wall. •
I am personally not such a fan of using the wall for cobrapose, finding it hard to “dose” the intensity of the backbend. •

If you want to give my version of #kingcobrapose a try then warm up with a few rounds of sun salutations and following postures: sphinxpose, lowlunge with backbend (anjaneyasana), cobrapose (bhujangasana) bowpose (dhanurasana), camelpose (ustrasana), bridgepose . •
Get into the pose by kneeling as close to the wall as you can, hands on floor, sliding the legs back and sliding the chest down the wall. Take a few cycles of breath and adjust the position. Inhale lift the chest up and bend back, exhale bend the knees and grab shins or knees. Engage legs, squeeze buttocks and keep lifting the heart. Try to breathe evenly. •
Get out by releasing grip, taking hands down and pushing yourself away from the wall. Rest on the belly, and finally come to childspose. •
