Tomorrow is DAY 2 of #stretchwithyin : the target area is the front layer of the body. Choose any #yogaposture that is generating a stretch somewhere over the front part of the body and is maybe pressurizing the lower back (creating a backbend) too. In #yinyoga such poses are part of the #saddlepose archetype: reclined heropose , supported bridgepose, cobrapose, sphinxpose, upright #pigeonpose (backleg) and many more.
I have chosen a variation of #halfsaddle or #halfreclinedhero to stretch the anterior part of the (here right) thigh and hip. The lever leg (here left leg) can be extended or bent with knee up too.
What is your favorite front body stretch and/or backbend? ??Explore and adapt your pose to achieve the function in a mild intensity (about 7 on a scale of 10). Hold it for longer (several minutes) with relaxed (target) muscles.
